Ross Guastella has more than 25 years of pharmacy retail leadership experience. Ross is a Pharmacy Supervisor for CVS Health for Central Mississippi. Previously, Ross was a HealthCare Manager for Fred's Pharmacy in Central Mississippi -Delta. He also has 19 years of experience with Walgreens in leadership positions including Store Manager and District Manager, managing two districts. Ross began his pharmacy career working with his father in family-owned pharmacies in the Chicago land area. Ross comes from a family of pharmacists to include his father, sister, and wife. Ross has years of retail experience with both Independent and Chain pharmacy operations. Ross Guastella received his bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has practiced pharmacy in several states including Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Mississippi. Ross has severed as a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club and Relay for Life. Ross currently serves as President ofBelle Point Home Owners Association in Madison, MS and has served as a board member for Lake Caroline. Ross is an avid deer hunter, enjoys fishing and is a member of the NRA.

Wes Pitts, Pharm.D., BCPS, FASHP is the Assistant Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.  He received his Pharm.D. from the University of Mississippi. Wes has extensive experience in implementing and improving clinical service protocols, managing performance and safety improvement initiatives for medication management, and improving technology integration into provider workflows. He serves on many committees and performance improvement teams at NMMC. Wes is Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Mississippi and Union University Schools of Pharmacy and has precepted many students and pharmacy residents. Wes is a Past President for the Mississippi Society of Health-System Pharmacists (MSHP) and has served MSHP as Senior Delegate to the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) House of Delegates. Wes’ service to MPhA includes previous involvement with the Pharmacy Practice Act Task Force and Government Affairs Committee as Co-Chair and current Chair. Wes and his wife, Leslie, reside in Mantachie, MS along with their three daughters, Ella, Darby, and Georgia.

Peyton Herrington graduated from The University of Mississippi in 2006 and currently works as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at UMMC. Peyton previously worked for two different retail chains, two hospitals, and has worked as a relief pharmacist at an independently owned pharmacy. Peyton has maintained membership in APhA since graduating and has been a member of MPhA since 2009. Peyton received MPhA's Distinguished Young Pharmacist award in 2013 and co-chaired the MPhA membership committee for two years before later joining the Executive Committee in 2017. Peyton and his wife, Sarah Denley, have three children and live in Flowood, MS. Peyton stays active in his community and within those organizations that he feels positively impact his community.

Randy Calvert has owned and operated independent pharmacies for 20 years, worked for large chain pharmacies, and in 2016 opened a Sports Medicine Pharmacy. Randy has served as a preceptor for the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy since 1982. He has also served on the State of MS Medicaid DUR Committee Board and worked with the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Team and the Baptist Medical Dental Fellowship to establish a temporary pharmacy following Hurricane Katrina. He is well-known for his mission trips, where he takes medical and pharmacy students to Honduras and sets up medical clinics in the Andes Mountains of Peru. He is a Deacon and Missions Committee member at First Baptist Church in Jackson, where he holds an annual community flu clinic. 

Dr. Buddy Ogletree graduated from the University of Mississippi. Since 2001 he has been staff pharmacist for Walmart Pharmacy. Prior to 2017, he served as a coordinator for Drug Information and Investigational Drugs at the University of Mississippi Medical Center spending over 30 years at UMMC. He was also on the faculty of the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy for over 20 years. He has given numerous presentations and has an extensive list of publications ranging from Supplements 101 to Glucocorticoid-induced Osteoporosis.

Tripp Dixon, PharmD graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in 2004 and completed a PGY-1 residency at Huntsville Hospital in 2006.  He is currently a clinical pharmacy specialist in infectious disease and chairs the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS.  Dr. Dixon is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Adult Medicine for the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy and was awarded Preceptor of the Year for the Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience in 2016.   He is a past-president of the Mississippi Society of Health-System Pharmacists (MSHP) and received the MSHP Service Award of Excellence for 2012 and Pharmacist of the Year in 2013.  Dr. Dixon has served as the Mississippi Pharmacists Association (MPhA) Education Chairman for the past 3 years and was named MPhA Member of the Year in 2016.  The Mississippi Business Journal selected him as a Healthcare Hero in 2014.  Dr. Dixon and his wife Kelly have four children and reside in Madison, MS.  They enjoy serving the community through the orphan care ministry in their local church and as a foster family in Madison County.    

Lauren Bloodworth is originally from Batesville, Mississippi. Lauren is a 2000 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy.  She then completed an ASHP-Accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency at the North Mississippi Medical Center in 2001. She was then employed as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee for 2 years. Dr. Bloodworth moved to the Jackson Metro area in 2003 and was employed at the University of Mississippi Medical Center as a Medical Intensive Care Unit Pharmacist and then a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Ambulatory Care. She was Director of the Adult Asthma Pharmacy Clinic and worked in the Anticoagulation and Metabolic Clinics. She then transitioned to a position with the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy where she was Assistant Dean for Student Services in Jackson, as well as, Administrator of the School’s Community-Based Research Program. She recently moved to Desoto County and is currently a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in Oxford. Lauren has previously served as MPhA’s Central District Chairman from 2003-2007 and currently serves on the Education and Awards and Nominations Committees. Lauren and her husband, Ward, live in Hernando, MS with their three children, Max, Drake, and Rivers.
